Every year, we buy a calendar for the kitchen. The kind that has several columns, one for each person in the house. We also receive one for free from a company. This year we didn't buy one, but meant to use the one for free. But then nothing came in the mail... So I made one myself.
My daughter claims I did not make it but merely changed it, since I glued it all on the backside of the sheets in the old calendar... I simply printed a squared paper from the computer and wrote all the dates and our names by hand. Holidays and Sundays were marked with a highlighter. Then I attached the paper on a coloured paper and glued it on the calendar. Above, I glued a patterned paper and a picture that I have taken. Finally I wrote the name of the month and the year by hand.
Seven of the pictures were taken from our garden, one is from our vacation by the sea and the others are from the closest neighbourhood. It's not a complicated calendar to make, but it doesn't get more personal than this!
